Supported Employment
Supported Employment is an evidence-based practice that assists consumers with
severe mental illness or co-occurring severe mental illness and substance use
disorders to identify, acquire and maintain competitive employment in the
community. These are jobs that pay at least minimum wage, are part time or
full-time for which anyone in the community can apply. EBSE utilizes rapid
job-search and continuous individualized follow along services to assist the
consumer in all phases of the employment process.
